I would also recommend testing her phonemic awareness, part of phonological awareness (addressed in Earobics). My son just had an auditory processing eval. which showed PA as a big problem area. I checked out the book, 'Phonics From A to Z' by Wiley Blevins, from our library. There is a section on PA in there, which includes an assessment, activities, using literature to develop Phonemic Awareness, etc.
