There is no "best" curriculum, but of course what engages your student and gets him or her learning is great. If you mean what curriculum would work to keep your student honest and cut down on your involvement in the process, I'd have to say a computer curriculum would do it. I only know about Switched on Schoolhouse. Not everyone loves it, some students find it boring, but it keeps track of their progress and grades their work so you don't have to. You have access to the reports through a separate Teacher program where you can also set up a calendar and preferences for the work. No more lost textbooks, no getting months behind in grading quizzes and tests. See if you can find something along those lines.
