If you still have the mailing address, you might want to write this in a letter and mail it. Media mail can take a long time and the person might not have even received the books. They might not remember what books they were if they were purchasing many books.
IF it is your mistake offer to pay for the shipment home.
These are just some ideas. Emails can be ignored, but very kind letters sometimes get attention. This person could be on vacation. I don't know if this helped.
