If you're travelling to Canberra you may wish to visit these 2 excellent vegan-asian restaurants in Wooley Street, Dickson :Kingsland and Au Lac.

The best bet when travelling over in OZ is to contact the local vegetarian societies beforehand. Most of them have websites.
