Yes, the Travel Lady is still around. I post on this board as TL. The advisory service you refer to was too demanding on time; so VegSource is shifting to an automated query system. It has just been implemented and the first priority is North America. We are soliciting inputs from everyone who is willing to help us build that database. Eventually, it will encompass the other parts of the world.

Regarding Travel Lady advice--she was never really a "travel" Lady, in that almost everything in the database had to do with restaurants throughout the world. People with questions outside that area were generally referred to travel agents who specialize in arranging trips for veg-minded folks.
You might direct your question about New Zealand to either NatNZ or Jess(NZ), who post in The Pub. There was a recent exchange about New Zealand on the Fit Folks Board--you might want to scroll down that board until you find the exchange between John(HI) and NatNZ.
