hi folks,

this week i reached my goal weight by following the maximum weight loss program and lots of exercise! here's my story: i am a 36 yr old female who, due to a knee injury and ensuing depression, gained, i don't know, maybe 15 lbs over the space of three months. prior to that i was a very active vegetarian and although not overweight, definitly a little on the stocky side. on feb 4th of this year i weighed in at 141 lbs and none of my clothes fit anymore. i was recovering from knee surgery, felt awful and could only squeeze into sweatpants. as soon as i got the okay from the doc i hit the gym and began following the mwl program. ten weeks later i've lost a total of 22 lbs and feel so much better about myself...it's amazing. the shift to the diet was easy for me since i'd already given up meat years ago and had been toying with the idea of going vegan for ethical reasons for quite a while. i don't miss the dairy at all and really don't feel hungry or deprived, even on mwl. what's really surprising to me is how the weight just keeps coming off...i exercised like a madman for the first six or seven weeks, then as the weight dropped, i seemed to need less exercise for the weight to continue to go. that's not to say it's been a quick or easy process...it's a daily grind that, after time, just becomes a habit. a good habit. that said, if you stick with it, you will see great results!
