There is no redeeming value in eating a food which has been stripped of almost all nutrients and then "added" back in. If you like cereal, try oatmeal or another cooked whole grain. Other alternatives for breakfast include bean and vegetable soups, which are very high-fiber and high in nutrients; cut-up fruit with sliced or chopped nuts; or a fruit smoothie with a little soy milk and flaxseed.
