I'm recovered/recovering from a disorder as well (still working on the mentality). I actually gained More weight than what I wanted to because I was underestimating the calorie content in beans. They are (and plenty of breads) helped me gain weight very quickly. I'm a strict vegan, and I didn't need anything outside a vegan diet to make me gain weight. I'm actually struggling to keep my weight at a (healthy) low right now. I'd suggest ust opening up a can of low-sodium beans and just eating it as a snack. If your stomach has shrunken, it might be a bit much, but you'll get better over time. Good luck, and congratulations with wanting to get better. It shows real strength.
