Personally, I find just the thought of eating a bird's or other animal's waste products (which is exactly what eggs are) rather disgusting. I would no more want to eat unfertilized hen's eggs than I would a human woman's unfertilized eggs (which are also released when a woman of child-bearing age does not conceive, and they are equally "waste products"). Eggs are unnecessary for cooking, baking, or good health. If you want to know what to do with the eggs your hens produce, contact Farm Sanctuary for an ethical solution.
