I understand that many people don't think chiropractic "works" - although I am more likely to endorse it for something obvious like back or joint pain, rather than something that clearly looks like a virus. When people say they "don't believe" in something, sometimes they mean they believe it to be ineffective or invalid, sometimes they mean there is something about it they find offensive or against their principles. If you mean the former, check the NIH website for CAM, there is actually some decent research suggesting that for pain issues at least, acupuncture is efficacious for at least some people. If the latter, I'd be interested to understand where you're coming from. Since i have conversations about care with many chronically ill and post-injury people, I am always interested in how people understand different types of care.
