I am currently working in a company where the kitchen or eating area is a few walks from my desk. I am really comfortable in this new job and I will not leave despite what I am about to tell you. I am the only vegan person on my job. My coworkers became amazed upon learning that I am a vegan- a person who does not eat meat. In response, they all said, "I have never met some one who does not eat meat." Having me around is quite an awe. Lunch breaks for me is horible. Meat scent causes me to choke up and sneeze. Whenever, I choke up or vomit my cowerks again become amazed. To handle my bad experience at lunch breaks I leave the work site during my hours my coworkers gather for lunch. Despite what I am going through at my work site I will not leave my job. I enjoy what I do. So, keep your job if it means a lot to you right now. However, remain resolute and serve your customers with a smile as they come to you for their checks out. If your customers know that you are a vegan they will become delighted and chances are they will respect you for working in meat environment. Good luck. Remember as long as you are not harming anyone and that no one is harming you on the job then you have every right to be there.

Love and respect brethren.
