Subject: The Leaky Gut Snydrome & Candida Connection
Date: January 9, 2008 at 9:41 pm PST

I am a healthy woman in my early 40's who is active, fit, and eats a
predominantly organic, vegan, natural whole grains diet. Over the past
5 years, I have developed allergies to wheat, amongst other things. I
get immediate reactions to dairy whenever I consume it. Lately, my
sugar cravings have been at their all-time high, and the Candi-Gone
cleanse (by Renew Life) my partner & I have used in the past seemed of
little to no use for clearing our candida. We use acidofulus
2x/daily. Lately, I have been waking around 4am or so once or twice
per month, and finding I am so mentally tweaked that I get reams and
reams of stream of consciousness flowing thru my brain!!(Not bad,
considering I am writing a book; however, a little inopportune in
terms of my timing!) I'll get up, write, then get inspired to do
something else before quietening myself back to sleep. So... What I
am wondering is: (i) Does anybody know if B12 is implicated in night
waking? (ii) Is night-waking a sign that I need to cleanse my
adrenals? If so, what product and precautions are recommended? and,
finally, (iii) most importantly, what is the most effective natural
way of treating candida, or should I just assume Leaky Gut Syndrome
(due to allergies)?? I find the literature on this topic hugely
overwhelming. Every time, I try to take a poke at it, I want to cry!
Any help people care to offer would be much appreciated. With
gracious thanks to you all! :^)
