There is unsweetened, yet fortified soy milk here in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It ought to be elsewhere too. If sugar addiction is like cigarette addiction, or alcohol addiction, we simply have to go cold turkey and then treat it like an alcoholic....i.e. once stopped, never fall off the wagon or we'll be right back where we started. What helped me to break cigarettes many decades ago was being so mad at being duped and manipulated by the tobacco marketers. Any time I thought of falling off the wagon, I said, "No sir, no way those *&%$##@ will ever get at me again." The other thing was, don't just "give up" the substance....REPLACE it with something healthier! When I quit smoking, I took up serious swimming...no way a cig would stay lit in the pool! :^D Does any of this make some sense?
