Hi, Jeri. We eat mostly whole foods in our home, but we do use tofu and occasionally soymilk and rice milk and and vegan meat alternatives. We also try to eat all organic. I have not found any problem finding organic products without few or no chemicals. Perhaps what you are interpreting as chemicals are actually natural thickeners or coagulants with terms you are not familiar with. Our natural food store and co-op carry many organic products with ingredients that are perfectly acceptable to us. Maybe you just need to look around the store more, or maybe you live in an area where the stores have limited offerings. We don't have great options here, but I've still had no problems finding suitable organic products. ~Jo P.S. Congratulations to you and your husband on becoming vegan!!!
