Thanks for the list and the article, which made a lot of sense. I do still have a question. If casein breaks down into casomorphines, wouldn't it follow that casein feeds into the semi-addiction referred to by Neal Barnard? I've had a really tough time breaking my dairy habit. I'm finally getting somewhere with that. To be super-safe, maybe I'd best avoid anything with caseinates on the label. Or maybe this is a weak enough casein formulation that it wouldn't matter unless I wolfed down some cheese, then it would activate that process significantly...oh well. Maybe I'm thinking too much. But where else can I think about this stuff out loud? So thanks for listening.
