Thanks for the advice.
I'm going to have to work on being more assertive in my own home. I suppose that i just try not to make my choices a bother for the rest of the house. Also being vegan or veg you are often branded as pedantic and overbearing in your ideas.
It's getting difficult to keep up the meat dinners anyway. I'm worried about the health of my children and as with the fleshies i should feel comfortable in enforcing a healthy diet on my kids. I think i'll need to work on this one.
My 11 yr old wants to be vegetarian and has started to replace certain foods abit at a time. Which is great news.
I managed yesterday to fool everyone with fake macdonalds nuggets (a tofu experiment) and even the 3yr old ate them with some sauce. It was a last resort to wean the kid off nuggets without having her starve to death lol. Hubby didn't complain because I told him that it was important for her to eat a healthier alternative. Might try play that angle again!
As for the stupid comments I think some people choose not to care, even when told the facts they still care only for themselves and their tastes. I have a great book called But You Kill Ants. Which has some great answers for these ridiculous statements. Though often people like my hubby just switch their brain off when it's too in their face.
I will convince him someday!!!! yesss.......Some day! lol
