i have been a vegan for over three years now and have this same issue. i find that the hunger seems to subside if i make sure that i eat something every three hours (which is supposed to be good for you anyway) and i make sure that i am eating a good mix of carbs, fat, and protein...typically, this is a fruit or veggie, or bread of some sort, with some almonds or nuts...it is very general advice, but it seems to work well, and you will get more ideas for the right balance for you. good luck!
