Soy has been used as a staple food for many years in other cultures. I still think as long as you eat a moderate amount, AS a food, there is no reason you would have problems any more than you would have problems eating too much lettuce, or too many pinto beans. I certainly have had no problems, and I have been eating soy in moderation for around 13 years. On the contrary, I look and feel much younger than my biological age, never get stomachaches, headaches, have had one virus in ten years, have low blood pressure and cholesterol readings, lots of energy, my skin looks good, I just really don't have any complaints whatsoever. And I'm in an age where many, many people have health issues, almost everybody I know. I just don't think there's any scientific proof that "too much" soy creates problems. As they say, "show me the proof," and also, perhaps each person is different. I have no allergies to anything and never have, perhaps some people are more susceptible than others to allergies of varying types. Because I know that some people are allergic to soy, as many are to other substances.
