I read Jp's article about the ethics of leather, and I agree completely with what she said. I do not see how one could say that using leather is consistent with veganism unless one is horribly confused about what veganism is. Even if there were a surplus or waste of animal skins from the meat industry, I do not see how this would make is justifiable for a vegan to use the product. I myself do not use leather at all. I did not use it even before becoming vegetarian because I do not want to touch dead things, let alone wear them...
