I don't know if this is an option but if you have any vegan friends with dogs or cats they might really appreciate the eggs. I was chatting with one of my vegan friends about dog food and saying how I wish I had (or knew someone) who had hens in your very situation (pets who lived a happy peaceful life) and I could use the eggs to add to my dog's food. If not - maybe you could give them to someone who would buy regular eggs - or I know at Farm Sanctuary they feed them back to the hens for nutrition...either way I am glad they have such a happy life with you and your son!
