I don't have personal experience with anorexia but I remember that a couple of women posters here who have battled with it have said that their doctors had to give them hormone treatment while they were in recovery in order to jumpstart their periods because they wouldn't start again on their own.

Also, I think you are probably right to be concerned about your amenorrhea. Amenorrhea in athletes with anorexia or a history of disordered eating is often due to low estrogen which also causes impaired bone mass development and osteoporosis. Google "female athlete triad" for more information on how anorexia, amenorrhea and osteoporosis are connected.

Is there a gyno or sports doctor at your school's health clinic you can talk to?
