So why is there a shortage of natural pollinators? Plants got along just fine before we came along. We have exterminated a lot of the natural pollinators, so yes, perhaps we need to artificially promote colonies of new ones. I would have no problem with farmers setting up beehives and then letting them do their thing. It is the taking of honey that is the exploitation. Keith
