Subject: Speaking of PETA...

I have donated to them in the past but at this time I feel the need to
concentrate my limited means with grassroots organizations, i.e. COK,
UPC, and sanctuaries. That said, I have received several mailings from
PETA which included .5 as an incentive to fill out a questionnaire
asking why I have not donated. (I donated the coins to the local
sanctuary, ha). Perhaps donations are down and they are questioning
why. Yes, some of their campaigns have been over the top. I do believe
most people have mixed feelings about how and what they should
concentrate on. For me, animal cruelty cases and vivisection are close
to my heart. Has anyone else gotten these mailings or would like to
share your thoughts about this group? I may down the road decide to
support them again.
