...It's not like the sheep are killed or anything, so what's the problem?
This was my mother last night, after discovering that I would not accept
her gift of a wool skirt. *sigh* She said she believes that the sheep
are treated well, because otherwise they would produce a lesser quality
product...
I bit my tongue, took a deep breath, just said I was against any
needless exploitation of animals, and sincerely thanked her for the
thought and for the other two shirts she had purchased.
What would anyone else have done differently? I know she enjoys being
ignorant on some subjects; I am certain she would reject any information
I could try to provide.
