Thank you for that very inspiring story. I do feel that I've got to start somewhere. I haven't been very good about saving money or seeing the big picture until now. I'm ready to embark on a whole new sensibility. :-) I don't expect that the property I buy will appreciate quite as much as your friend's home did. (!!!) But I do think that starting to think in this way will set me up to buy something a little bigger with a little more green space in the future. In the meantime, I'll be happy to have a place with more sunlight, a dining room, storage space, and the freedom to "make it my own." Thanks for your encouragement! ~Just
