We were feeding Evo to our kids, but we have a 14 year old boy with kidney disease so the Innova for seniors has less protien in it so it is easier on his kidneys. Our vet has him on some heart medication which dilates his blood vessels lessening the strain on his kidneys. I knew something was up when half his day he'd by laying beside the water dish with a wet chin and the other half of the day in the litter box. We had just adopted him and had no medical history on him. Apparently, who ever had him for the previous 13 1/2 years gave him up because the couldn't afford him??? They never said why though. I'm sure glad we adopted him (after being in a cage for three months :-( ) Although, I must say, giving him his meds every morning is stressful to both of us. I'm scared he'll stop loving me because he hates it so much. He knows when I'm coming with the syringe, even though I try and fake it somehow. blah blah blah, just got a bit off topic.
