Thank you David,
For sharing all your struggles with me. I don't really isolate myself
that much over a difference in belief from others. Truthfully I just
felt angry the day that I posted this because of my over-piling math
homework, which is totally unrelated. I am more social than what I
Why do you have a negative image about veganism? You're saying that you
eat a vegan diet but you don't believe in AR...aren't you not vegan,
then? Veganism isn't a diet, it's a lifestyle. Truth be told Donald
Watson would be rolling in his grave right now if he knew that veganism
was so misinterpreted. Please don't take this the wrong way, as I'm not
angry at all, but why do you think vegans are conceited and elitist?
Because a lot of us are not.If you are truly a Christian as you say,
wouldn't you want to extend your love and kindness to animals? Veganism
isn't so much about "giving up" things due to dogma but out of
compassion for all sentient beings. I'm sorry you had that bit with
Marcy. She probably kept away from you out of shame. But I don't think
you should say that a vegan diet is restricting. If I were Marcy, I
wouldn't rely on others in the first place. I'd just pack all my food in
the luggage and bring a few kitchen utensils to prepare them myself.
Diner food is crap, anyway. There's always a way to stay vegan. It's
just how one approaches about it that makes the whole difference.
But again, thank you for reminding me that I should be focusing on the
positive aspects of others. I encourage that you stay 100% on a plant-
based diet. It may really change your values. I used to eat a SAD diet
and not consider about the ethical and environmental ramifications, too.
