I beg to differ, David. Alan didn't say anything judgmental or insulting to the group. He and his wife just left the group -- that's all. When someone inquired as to why, Alan made a simple statement, "We're vegan." There was nothing condescending in that statement whatsoever. Nevertheless, the people in the group took offense and went on the attack. It wasn't Alan who was the aggressor or was rude -- it was the people in the group who were personally offended that Alan wasn't like them (not the other way around). Also, everyone should have the right to attend a class to see whether it's a good fit for them. They should also have the right to leave the class if it's not a good fit, without others being critical of them, regardless of their reason for leaving.
