I don't know much about the nutritional needs of infants but do recall the unfortunate controversy of two vegan parents who were charged with the wrongful death of their baby. The baby literally starved to death because they fed their son soy milk and apple juice. They were sentenced to life in prison and in 2011, this conviction was upheld by the Supreme Court in Georgia. My best advice to you would be to consult with your Pediatrician to confirm that your planned diet meets the child's nutritional needs.
