Happy new year everyone. It's good to see a couple of familiar faces here again: Snoopy and Vegan Jim.

I've been away from home for a couple of weeks, helping my two brothers with my late father's estate. Clearing out a house that's been someone's home for 35 years is a monumental task! I'm ready to go home.

We've been eating out a lot, because we were just to exhausted to cook. The good news is that, even here in a petrochemical town on the Alberta prairies, I can usually fine one (or sometimes even two) vegan of veganizable items on any menu. Yay!
