Hi! This is my 3rd day of my new vegan adventure and I'm super excited to feel better, have more energy, and all the other benefits. This isn't the first time I've done this; the last time was about 10 years ago and honestly, it happened so gradually, I don't even know why I went "off the wagon". Anyway, I'm back and have noticed some interesting things. I have a blog on another food/recipe website and decided to post daily journal-type entries about my progress, including keeping track of my menu. I don't know if it's that particular website, but the first two comments on my blog entry were people telling me I shouldn't be vegan because I can't get enough protein, people need meat, etc. etc. etc. I was a little thrown off, because the blog is meant to be a journal, not a debate...but I can't help but think that some people become infuriated at the mere mention that someone is vegan or vegetarian! What's that about? I wasn't threatening anyone, just posting how great I feel along with pics of my yummy food.
