Just to be clear, the solar panels are being installed on a different roof, not the enclosed patio roof where I see the rats are now (although I'm sure rats live also under the roofing tiles of the house). Just mentioning that in case someone answers that the heat of the solar panels should send the rats away (without frying them first) and keep them from coming back.
