Subject: Encouraging rats and mice to live elsewhere
Date: August 12, 2011 at 2:04 am PST

A family of rats or mice have decided to nest in the insulation under the roof of my wooden enclosed patio. How can I convince them to go away and find a different place to live so I can plug up the hole and protect my roof? Does there exist some sort of sonic or other device that might convince them that under my roof is not such a nice nesting house after all? I love sharing my yard with the cute little beasts, but I don't want them where they can do damage! (I also don't want them nesting under my newly installed solar panels because I'm worried they can get cooked - not to mention eat the wires no mater how much extra protection is being put around those wires)
