Wow! That is so cool! How many cats to you have? Do they go after any birds that get inside their space? I would love to build something like that for some animals.
Where I am now I am thinking of raising chickens but am always afraid I might not build or get a safe enough house for them. During my teenage years I lived in a very rural area on a dirt road and my parents raised chickens, but no matter what they did it always seems a racoon went after them at night - there was a chicken pen and a closed chicken house inside the pen and at night they still found some way in. In my area I see chickens in yards roaming around during day and even walking around town! How do they stay safe??? I guess it is only at night when the worst predators come for them. I would love to care for a couple of chickens once I do some more research (they have alot of books now about raising chickens).
