Subject: vegan - non vegan/vegetarian

Hi,
I just met a very nice and caring guy who is not vegan/vegetarian. I am vegan and am not sure how to handle this. I am asking for input from people who are vegans and have a non vegan/vegetarian spouse, boyfriend, fiance.
He has 2 children who live with him so it is not just him. He is accepting of my life style a d we have talked about how to combine both our life styles; for example, he would like to cook for me. How do vegans and non vegans/vegetarians deal with this issue and still have a successful relationship?
