That's such a hard decision. I'm sorry the rescue lady wasn't more understanding. Hopefully Caine will find a good fit soon. I wish I lived closer! When we rescued our cats(they were kittens)we already had dogs, so they don't know any different. I've been looking at poodle(standard size) rescue here in NC. It was a tough call, but I agree with Jo. I hope the kitties are recovering ok.
