I'm so sorry to hear about Caine's short-lived time with you, but I totally understand. Your allegiance has to remain with those who "had" you first. Not being able to sit on Mommy's lap out of fear is a terrible thing for a kitty to endure. It's good you ended things quickly before your, and Wendy's, and Caine's bond was too deep.
