I was looking for a winter vest, and found one at Goodwill, but it contains down/duck feathers. What is your opinion on using items found in thrift stores that contain animal products? We all know it is better to recycle rather than purchase new. I know I could always buy something new with synthetics in it instead (which may or may not have polluted the environment during the process) but is one really better than the other? Your comments please.
