I'm a little confused about how much protein is best for the average non-athletic person. I get conflicting info. I track my food and eat mostly beans, rice, quinoa, etc and veggies. My daily average of protein is only about 29 grams. I don't see how I could 50 grams, which is the lowest amount I find in the conflicting info, you are suppose to get without eating packaged veg meats, which I don't eat too often, or protein supplements. I was thinking of buying protein powder but I have to wait until I get some money. There is a rice protein powder from Jarrow that says the way they process it is a complete protein. I don't know how they do that, but it sounds good?! I would also like to get pea protein. Does anyone know the minimum protein a female should consume daily and the best protein powder choice? I figure my fellow veggies would be my best source for this info. :) Thank you for the help!
