thanks, Keith, for responding to my message. Unfortunately, I don't feel your answer really addressed the issue I was trying to get some help on. I'm very aware that it's not my place as the grandmother to tell my son and his wife how to feed their children and THAT'S the issue for me, i.e. when I am at their house (which is twice/week) babysitting I have to feed my 2 yr.old grandson sometimes breakfast, sometimes lunch, and then snacks as well. The choices in the refrigerator include meats, dairy, eggs, etc. I bring a cooler with vegan foods and that's helpful as he likes to see what's in it and share the food with me sometimes. However, there are times when I'm expected to feed him some of the foods there. Even just knowing that they are feeding him this way is disturbing to me. To see a baby you love so dearly being fed some things you believe will damage his health. So there you have it.
