I am a new vegan and looking for a sample meal plan so I can make sure that I am getting a "balanced" diet, and all the nutrients that my body needs. I have been a vegetarian for a few years, and don't normally eat what I call "consolidated dairy" (meaning I won't drink a glass of milk or a eat eggs or a chunk of cheese, but I will eat dairy in desserts and breads.) I would like to become a vegan that eats NO dairy (cutting out dairy in every form) but am afraid I am not getting all the nutrients I need. Is there a basic "standard" of things to make sure one eats every day, that I can take as a template, or something on this website that can help me navigate my new eating habits?
