Erin, you are to be commended for sticking to your beliefs and handling the situation as best as possible. It doesn't sound like your teacher's comments were confrontational -- just honest and direct. I would suggest having the conversation with her as soon as possible, while all of this is fresh in your mind (and hers as well). It might end up being more enlightening and positive than you anticipate. Please let me know the outcome...and good luck! Hugs,
