Hi Snapdragon,

I read below that you have a new bunny friend. Just thought I'd make a few comments.

I've had bunnies for 10 years, have one left after her "guy" died last year. By now you probably realize that bunnies love to chew electric cords, so you should cover the cords with duct tape and/or the plastic covering you can get at hardware store. We found this after our bunnies ruined our computer, vacuum cleaner, various lamps and appliances. For some reason they only like cords with electricity running through them.

As far as sunbathing bunnies and letting them be outside, I found that my bunnies could be in our yard and would stay pretty much in one place. If you have a fenced yard, that's great, you can check it really good for any "escape" routes and plug those, then let bunny find his/her own favorite hangouts. Mine would sit for hours in one place, usually under the front porch, digging a hole to lie in, when my husband would get upset at the dirt on the lawn he would push it back under the porch and the bunny would throw it out again LOL. It was pretty funny.

Just make sure no dogs can get around and scare or hurt your bunny. Of course. Duh. Cats seem to be not a problem, they're just intensely curious about what they must think is a very large mouse.

I know lots about feeding bunnies too because I made mistakes in that regard.

And of course they love having another bunny to cuddle with, but that's twice the mess and poo and all LOL well, you know, they are messy.

Congratulations and if you have any bunny questions, you can ask me, my two bunnies educated me well on being a bunny owner!
