Hello! I had a hard time finding this board, but glad you're still here. I was here several years ago as "Grace" but not for a while. Anyway, I'm looking for some help w/my son's diet. He is vegan for the most part & also has Asperger's Syndrome which creates some difficulty in terms of food appearances and textures. I'm trying to vary his diet w/out adding more soy and I'd really like to lessen the amount of soy. He won't eat any vegetables right now that he knows are there (for example I make a smoothie that has carrots and FSO in it, but he doesn't know). Oh yeah, we're also gluten free...Here's a typical day: Breakfast: Snack: Snack: Lunch Snack Snack Dinner He used to have a much more varied diet, but over time keeps eliminating things like veggies, legumes, and eggs...he's been DF since birth. He also won't eat things that are too bright in color...Also he can't take nut products to school, it's a nut-free zone, hence the soy-heavy, chip-heavy diet...@home he has a nut butter or some cashews/sunflower seeds/hummus etc..at lunch time... thanks for the help, I hate to see my little guy have such a limited diet when there's so much good food...
