Hi, lilmissdisney! Since I don't know which recipe you are referring to, I can't give you an exact answer. However, the oats in some of my uncheese recipes serve two functions: (1) to thicken, and (2) to provide a little bit of "stretch." You can use flour to replace the oats, as it would work well for thickening. However, it won't impart any of the gluey stretch that oats do. If you don't mind that, then just use whatever flour you have on hand. Enjoy!
