Hi, lilmissdisney! I find that the balance of the two oils in the crust make it have a less oily feel. You could try another oil, such as canola, if you have that on hand. If not, you can use all coconut oil, if absolutely necessary.

You can either simply omit the nutmeg in the quiche or use a tiny pinch of allspice instead. The nutmeg really contributes a nice subtle flavor, though.

I'm so glad you dusted off your copy of Uncheese. It's a lot of fun to come back to the recipes after a while and "play" with them. Enjoy!
