Hi, Ted. Thanks for asking for my input. I feel it is disrespectful of authors and publishers to reprint recipes from a cookbook without their permission (even a cookbook that is almost twenty years old). That said, this is the Web -- the 21st century Wild West -- so it's virtually impossible to control what other people do, including enforcing basic courtesies and respect. My preference is that people who want to post published recipes obtain the author's express permission or send the recipe privately via email to just a select group of friends or family members. ~Jo
