I feel that you don't really need a "centerpiece." All the "side" dishes combined can make quite a feast. Stuffing, gravy, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie . . . that's enough to feel a small village -- no centerpiece needed! We'll be with my sister and her family for the holidays. My BIL is vegan now, and they are always very accommodating for us. I'm sure we'll have more food than we could ever imagine eating. We are very fortunate.
