Vitamin D3 is never vegan. There are many brands of vegan vitamins, however. If you buy online, I would suggest that you read the product label carefully before purchasing the product, even if it is marketed as being vegan. Another option would be to buy only from reputable vegan retailers (such as Vegan Essentials or Pangea) that screen all of their products and guarantee them as vegan.
