Yes, there are nutrient inhibitors in a lot of foods. The good usually far outweighs the bad. The important consideration is to have a variety of foods so that you obtain the full spectrum of nutrients in various of forms. For example, don't have spinach every day -- vary your greens. It's okay to have spinach occasionally, but alternate it with kale, collard greens, broccoli, cabbage, bok choy, and so forth. And include raw greens and vegetables (not just cooked ones) and fruits. Switch up your grains, too, so you are not having solely wheat, for example. No individual food is perfect -- that is why we need variety.
